although characterized by a hot and humid climate, singapore was 'chosen' to be the very first country in asia to host diner en blanc (i'm saying this because it was bloody hot!!!). nearly 900 turned up last evening, and it was be fun and exciting! i must admit it was quite a hassle to set-up the whole thing (carrying chairs, table, dishes, utensils, food, drink, etc). not to mention carrying it to the location. but after we settled down and started chatting with random people, flagging napkins, lighting up sparklers, many cheers, and good music to dance with, it was actually worth all the hassles.
