sautéed sausage with onions

place the onions in a large skillet, add olive oil, turn the heat to medium, and cook for about 1 minute. add the salt, a pinch of dried rosemary and black pepper. stirring frequently until the onions are tender and soft. cook the cut sausages in the same pan over medium heat. cook until nicely browned all over. total cooking time will depend on the thickness of the sausages.

and voila..this is one of the easiest emergency food that you can serve at home.

1/4 life crisis?!

we walk down the road realizing that we are not going along with the crowd. we start wondering if the things that we do are close to what we thought we would be doing. we thought about our life and job, and again, are those even close to what we thought we would want to have? but the thought of going to have to start anew scares us. wait.., do we actually know what we want in our life to begin with? is this again a midlife crisis for most people?

side track: i dreamed about a peaceful life in i-dont-know-where, probably nepal or tibet, somewhere in the mountain, beautiful white brick house, cool weather, beautiful clean river yards away, and yes..horses, no car! and i dont remember seeing my blackberry in my dream as well. in the dream, i didnt do much but just sit down absorbing the serenity and in a moment, i felt the inner peace. thanks to the alarm that does not recognize public holiday, i was brought back to the real world.

seriously, kudos for the people who have the guts to 'restart' their life so that they can live their dream!

H&M unveiled in s'pore 3rd Sept'11

They have been my replacement for Zara's work shirts primarily because of the price, good enough material and design. And of course a dependable supplier who'll fly H&M thousands of miles away to my door. Now that it is coming to Singapore, I am not sure if I am still as excited as I was before towards H&M. Singapore's currency is stronger compare to other countries (at least for now), and things are generally become more expensive here. But it is going to be interesting as shoppers have more and more choices to choose from.

Located at Somerset, the 30,000 square feet heaven that spans across three levels is expected to be packed! (remember when Uniqlo first opened their shop in Singapore...my goodness)

1st post in 2011?!

have totally forgotten about owning a blog..seriously, how many virtual platforms does a person need to maintain? well so anyway, only if you bother to know, i am just busy juggling between work, study, and my personal life. been going back to school for the last 9 months and i still have 9 months to go. geez..if the uni allows me to cramp all subjects into 1 semester, i won't mind doing it.

anyway, life has given me lemons lately and..well i need some sugar.
